How to Track Social Media Engagement on the Dashboard

Podscribe tracks the social media engagement on your podcast campaigns—likes, comments, and views across Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, and YouTube, so you can measure the full impact of your buy without leaving your reporting workflow.

This guide walks you through how social engagement tracking works and where to find it in your dashboard.

How It Works

Social engagement tracking happens automatically. Even if you don't designate a campaign as a social media campaign, Podscribe scans all the social channels associated with a podcast buy and surfaces the engagement on your dashboard.

If you want a dedicated social-first buy, you can also create a single-channel social media or Simulcast campaign directly in your Podscribe dashboard.

What Gets Tracked

Podscribe surfaces three engagement metrics across your connected platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, and YouTube): views, likes and comments.

Where to Find Social Engagement in Your Dashboard

1. Add engagement columns in the By Campaign report

This is the fastest way to see engagement signals alongside the campaign results you already analyze.

  1. Navigate to By Campaign.
  1. Open the New Columns menu (located above the report table).
  1. Select the social engagement columns you'd like to add—such as views, likes, and comments.

2. See social engagement and trends in the Delivery side panel

For a deeper, platform-level view of engagement over time, use the Delivery side panel.

  1. Navigate to By Campaign.
  1. Select a Simulcast campaign from your campaign list.
  1. Launch the Delivery side panel.
  1. Scroll to the dedicated Social Engagement section, which separates social engagement from podcast and YouTube delivery.

Within the Social Engagement section, you'll find:

  • Summary metrics – views, likes, and comments at a glance
  • Platform filters – isolate results for Instagram, TikTok, and Twitch
  • Engagement trend views – see how engagement changes over time

Access Engagement Data via the API

For teams running automated reporting, social engagement metrics are also available through the Single Campaign Reporting public API, giving you API parity with what's visible in-product. Whether you're building internal dashboards, client-facing reports, or agency workflows, you can pull the same engagement data programmatically, reducing manual exports and avoiding reporting discrepancies.
