When you provide Podscribe show names on your Google sheet of campaigns, Podscribe attempts to match each name to a podcast Apple ID or a YouTube channel/playlist. This is necessary for us to link the name you input to a show/channel in our system.
This works most of the time automatically, but sometimes the wrong podcast/YouTube is linked (eg if multiple podcasts share the same or a similar name).
Often you can discover these incorrect mappings by filtering on Missing
campaigns (no ads found), or ones that are Tracking Not Setup
.
You can also search your inputted name in the Campaign
filter. The Show
filter will have names of the shows weโve mapped to:

If you notice that a campaign on your dash is not linked to the show youโre expecting, you can correct the system mapping!
To do so, in the 'By Campaign' tab, hover your mouse over the show artwork (next to the campaign name) of the incorrectly mapped campaign, and click on โChangeโ.

For podcasts, get the Apple Podcast ID (the numbers only) from the podcastโs URL:

Add the ID and Click 'Save':

For YouTube, click 'Search for YouTube Channel/Playlist URL.โ

If every video published in a channel is a podcast episode, then you can copy the link of the Video tab:

If not all videos published are podcast episodes (eg. the podcast episodes are all in a playlist) then click the playlist tab and select the correct playlist.

Add the YouTube Channel/Playlist URL and then click Save:
