Watchlists give you a simple, automated way to stay up to date on the podcasts and advertisers that matter most to you. Once set up, Podscribe keeps an eye on the market and sends you email alerts when something changes.
What Are Watchlists?
Watchlists let you:
- Build custom, living lists that monitor podcasts or advertisers you care about
- Get notified when new activity happens
- Open watched lists directly in Discover Shows or Planner to get more insights and take action
Podscribe tracks the activity for you and surfaces the moments that matter.
For any list you’re watching, Podscribe sends a weekly email by default.
- Show Lists : Weekly emails highlighting advertisers that appeared on your tracked shows for the first time in the past 12 months.
- Advertiser Lists: Weekly emails highlighting new shows where your tracked advertisers appeared for the first time in the past 12 months.

Common Use Cases
For publishers: Get alerted when new advertisers appear on competitive shows, so you can identify active buyers early and prioritize timely outreach.
For advertisers & agencies: Get notified when competitor brands start advertising on new shows, making it easier to track testing, expansion, and shifts in podcast strategy.
How to Get Started
- Click the Watchlists icon (list + binoculars) next to the search bar from anywhere in your dashboard
- Toggle between Show Lists and Advertiser Lists
- Add the podcasts or advertisers you want to follow
- Turn the list on (green = watching) to start tracking
- Set email alerts for the recipients and cadence you prefer
Using Show Watchlists in Discover Shows and Planner
Any show watchlist you create can be opened directly inside Podscribe’s core planning tools, so you can move from alerts to action quickly.
- Open in Planner to compare your watchlisted shows using planning metrics like reach, net-new reach, brand affinity, advertiser overlap and more.
- Open in Discover Shows to explore those same shows in a filtered view with audience demographics, download trends, and advertiser history.
