Overview
Automated Pixel Emails lets you schedule recurring emails that send impression (DAI/streaming) pixels to publishers, so you don’t need to go into the dashboard to manually email pixels when new campaigns are added, reducing the time and effort needed to set up pixel tracking.
What gets emailed
Automated Pixel Emails generates and emails a pixel report to the Publisher Email list you configure.
You control which campaigns are included using the Which Campaigns setting:
- All: Sends pixels for all publishers that have campaigns in the selected time period.
- Tracking Not Setup: Sends pixels only for campaigns that are currently in a “No Tracking” state.
- Tracking Not Setup & Not Yet Emailed: Sends pixels only for campaigns that are in “No Tracking” and have not been emailed yet (including via the manual/bulk email flow).
Before you start
Make sure you have:
- Access to the relevant advertiser (or publisher/agency workspace) in Podscribe.
- The correct recipient email addresses (a person or an ops alias).
- The right date range selected so the schedule targets the campaigns you intend.

Step 1: Open Automated Pixel Emails settings
- Log into your Podscribe dashboard.
- Navigate to By Campaign > Delivery section > click on Email Pixels ( ✉️ icon)
- Select Automated Pixel Emails (or Configure automated pixel emails) to open the scheduling settings.
Step 2: Configure Publisher Emails
The Publisher Emails list controls where the automated pixel emails will be sent.
- Add one or more email addresses that should receive the pixels.
- Confirm there are no missing/blank recipients before turning the schedule on.
Step 3: Choose which publishers are eligible
Publisher selection works in two layers:
- By default, the system considers all publishers with campaigns for the selected period.
- If you select specific publishers in the Publisher filter, the schedule will only send to those publishers (as long as they have eligible campaigns based on
Which Campaigns).
Step 4: Choose which campaigns to include
In Which Campaigns, select one of:
- All
- Tracking Not Setup
- Tracking Not Setup & Not Yet Emailed
This setting determines the campaign eligibility rules for each scheduled send.
Step 5: Set the schedule
Automated Pixel Emails only sends on weekdays.
Monthly schedules
If you schedule on the 31st (or any day that doesn’t exist every month), the send date follows these rules:
- If the date exists and it’s a weekday and it’s not a US federal holiday (or observed holiday), it sends on that date.
- Otherwise, it sends on the nearest weekday before that date.
Weekly schedules
If the selected day of week is a US federal holiday, the email will be sent on the previous weekday.

Step 6: Activate the schedule
- Turn the schedule Active.
- Save your settings.
Once active, the system will send emails according to your schedule and eligibility rules.
Step 7: Review send history
Use the History section to confirm:
- When the last email was sent.
- Which publishers were included.
- Whether the report was generated successfully.
If recipients report missing emails, start by confirming:
- The schedule is Active.
- The recipient email addresses are correct.
- There were eligible campaigns at the time of send.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. The email didn’t send when I expected
Check the schedule rules:
- Sends only on weekdays.
- If the target date/day is a US federal holiday (or observed), it shifts to the previous weekday.
2. Why are some publishers missing from the email?
Most often:
- They have no eligible campaigns for the selected period.
- They were excluded due to Publisher filter selection.
- You selected Tracking Not Setup (or Tracking Not Setup & Not Yet Emailed), and their campaigns don’t match those criteria.
3. A publisher says the ad server is wrong / the pixel needs a different format
Podscribe will do its best to auto-select the correct ad server, but it can be wrong or blank. If needed:
- Confirm with the publisher which ad server they use.
- Update the ad server selection and resend.
For manual pixel email workflows, see this help guide.
4. How do I know if a pixel is working?
With DAI pixels, you typically can’t confirm proper placement until a campaign is live and generating impressions. If a campaign has been live for 2+ days and impressions are still missing:
- Confirm the publisher placed the correct pixel and it wasn’t truncated or modified.
- If the publisher confirms placement, contact adops@podscribe.com
