Checklist: Keep Your Publisher Profile and Shows Up to Date

Use this quarterly checklist to keep your publisher profile, show catalog, platform links, tracking setup, and contact information accurate for buyers.

Use this checklist to make sure your publisher profile and show catalog are complete and up to date. A complete profile helps buyers find the right shows, reach the right contact, discover your inventory in the Podscribe Ranker, and ensure your shows get full credit for every impression.

Start here → Your Configure Page

1. Confirm your publisher details

  1. In the Configure Page > Shows section, confirm that every current podcast owned by you and any subnetwork appears under your publisher profile.
  1. To add a missing show, click Add Show/YouTube Channel, search for the show, select it, and click Add.
  1. If you have many shows to add, use Upload CSV File.

3. Verify YouTube Analytics access is granted

Granting Podscribe read-only access to YouTube Analytics helps automate engaged-view reporting to your advertisers and improve YouTube SmartModeling.

  1. Open https://youtube-auth.pscrb.fm/prod/connect
  1. Sign in to Google with the account that owns your YouTube channel.
  1. Grant Podscribe read-only access through the YouTube Analytics authorization flow.

4. Verify YouTube, Rumble, and social accounts are linked

YouTube

For each show, confirm that the correct YouTube channel or playlist is linked.

  • If every video on the channel is a podcast episode, use the channel’s Videos URL.
  • If only podcast episodes in a specific playlist should be linked, use the playlist URL.
  • Do not use an individual video URL containing /watch.

To add or correct a YouTube link, open the show’s Edit Simulcast control, choose Search by YouTube Channel/Playlist URL, paste the URL, and click Link.

Rumble

For each show, confirm that the correct Rumble channel or user page is linked. Navigate to Configure Page > Shows > Edit Simulcast > Link Rumble Show and provide the correct Rumble channel or user URL.

Social accounts

For each show, confirm that the relevant social profiles are linked, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and Twitch.

  1. In the Configure > Shows table, hover over the show row.
  1. Click the pencil icon to Edit Social Accounts.
  1. Add or update the profile URLs, then save.

5. Verify Spotify Video status and data

If you have opted your show into Spotify Video and want Podscribe to receive Spotify stream data, follow Spotify Video Podscribe Integration Setup.

This integration enables Podscribe to count your audio and video streams on Spotify and use the data to model performance. This integration does not share PII such as IP addresses.

If you do not see data after the export and replication are active, reach out to adops@podscribe.com for support.

Note: If a show is opted into Spotify Video, Podscribe may lose the ability to measure baked-in attribution for Spotify listeners.

6. Verify the Podscribe RSS prefix on all your shows

For each show:

  1. Open the show page and click the RSS icon.
  1. Open the show’s RSS feed.
  1. Search the feed for pscrb.
  1. If it appears in the episode enclosure URLs, the Podscribe prefix is present.
  1. You can also hover over the prefix checkmark on the show page to review its status.

If the prefix is missing, follow How to Place the Podscribe RSS Prefix.

Shows opted into Spotify Video may stop sending the normal RSS prefix. For those shows, review the Spotify Video status and data in addition to checking the RSS feed.
